Letter from Exective Director of ASCF

It has been my distinct honor and privilege to have known Angela as both an employee and a friend.

Angela worked tirelessly to educate and guide parents of children with disabilities to know their rights regarding a Free and Appropriate Public Education and what that encompasses.  Her sense of humor, kindness and thoughtfulness enriched the families who were fortunate enough to know her.

Angela sat on the boards of many affiliate agencies so that the voice of our children and families would not be forgotten in program planning.

She was admired by many for her unique ability to write and receive grants to create and fund programs for children with disabilities.

Angela’s legacy will continue to inspire us, guiding the decisions and actions in the work that we will continue to do.  She will be missed as a champion of special children and their families.
