Transition Throughout Your Child’s School Career

Transition – is planning for your child’s advancements from Early Intervention to Preschool, from Elementary to Middle School, Middle school to High School and planning for their future after high school.  The transition from school to work, or from secondary to post-secondary education.

This workshop is presented by Meredith Brooks, Parent Trainer at ASCF.  Meredith is the mother of 2 children with different disabilities.  She has extensive knowledge of NJAC 6A-14 and the school system.  

Basic Rights in Special Education – Preparing for the New School Year

Preparing for the new school year.  This overview will help parents understand and ask questions about Special Education services for their child.  

This workshop is presented by Tammi Kaminiski and Meredith Brooks, Parent Trainers at ASCF.

Meredith is the mother of 2 children with different disabilities.  She has extensive knowledge of NJAC 6A-14 and the school system.  

Tammi is the mother of 2 children with different disabilities.  She has worked in different organizations supporting children with disabilities with a strong background in the Special Education System.
