Chronic Absenteeism

Chronic Absenteeism- Chronic absenteeism in school means a student misses a significant amount of school time, typically 10% or more of the school year, regardless of whether the absences are excused or unexcused.
Missing school adds up fast — when a student misses 10% or more of the year, they’re considered chronically absent, whether absences are excused or not.
